February22nd 2007: Day 6
Today
we visit the school! It is hard to put into words just how amazing this day was. The image of the smiling faces of the children
that greeted us will remain in my heart always. These children do not have the things we have here in the USA.
They have no clean water and limited
(or no) access to medical or dental care and very few toys.
They
were so excited to see your photos and to meet Yummy!
They
were fascinated by the pictures of us playing in the snow. (They never SEE snow.)
Ryan's
mom helped me explain that each snowflake is unique and special...that no two are alike. Just like all of you! Each child
is special. There is nobody in the world exactly like YOU!
The
children wanted to talk to us, to share with us...and they danced for us! And they wanted us to sign our names in their
notebooks.
I signed
my name and added a heart to my signature from all of YOU!
They
are so grateful for your generous donations of notebooks and pencils!
I will
let the photographs speak for themselves.....

of these photos open in a much larger format when clicked.)
