Today we visit the Sierra Chincua
( or Chincua Mountian Range) monarch sanctuary. This beautiful and wild forest is in danger from illegal logging. ( cutting down the trees without permission.)
But there are many, many people ( like you children!) who want to help both the the local people and the butterflies.....

Next stop.....Altenare.
This is a very special place in the monarch wintering areas where people are trained in ways to build  homes from adobe brick instead of wood from trees.
They also do many, many, many other things including planting new trees in the forest .
