Miss Hope & an Elephant Seal |
We all had to stay at least 25 feet away from the Elephant Seal
but it was close enough for Miss Myra to able to take this picture. Can you tell if the Elephant Seal is a
male or a female?
We explored Tidepools . It was too wet for Squeaky, but we saw some amazing things. See if you can find the creatures in these
pictures.Then play the Tidepool Game
On our way to Natural Bridges Stae Park we stopped at a dock to visit with the resident Sea Lions. They were huddled
all together next to a boat. Such beautiful animals! The teachers were standing and sitting on the dock and when we looked
down into the water.....
We saw a sea otter! All of the other otters were further out in the water, but this otter decided to eat right next to
us! Look for the clams on his stomach. Otters use their tummy's as a table'.Then they will crack open the shells of clams
on other shells or rocks.
