About Me

2011me.jpg

I began my career in Head Start, but happily taught at the Bergen Community College Child Development Center from September of 1985 until my retirement in June 2011.

I have conducted workshops for the NJ Association for the Education of Young Children and the National Coalition for Campus Children's Centers. I am also an active member of and volunteer for the Monarch Teacher Network.

Sharing concepts of learning and development through nature education for young children is my passion.

I am an animal advocate  and I do what I can to help the Hug A Bunny Rabbit Rescue group and my local animal shelter. My hobbies include   nature photography and hiking. My husband, four bunnies, one guinea pig and two cats are my family.

It is a pleasure for me to share my love of nature, life and learning with children and other early childhood educators .

I hope you enjoy exploring this website.
